What brings together some of France’s most well known cheeses such as Gruyère, Comté and Morbier? They all come without fail from the beautiful region of Franche Comté, with its shades of blue, green and white.
We get the blue with 5500km or rivers, 80 lakes and over 1000 ponds, mountain streams or waterfalls. The lush green comes from the deep forests which cover about 44% of the region, but also and countryside which adds even more charm to Franche Comté.
