Appearance

Small soft cheese with a bloomy rind and ivory paste.

Texture

Creamy and smooth.

Taste

Fresh with notes of raw milk and an indulgent aftertaste.

Generous like camembert with a more delicate finish

Perfect on a thick slice of rustic bread, with a glass of champagne or a sparkling French cider. Its creamy texture makes Coulommiers a great choice for cooking, in a Croque Monsieur or a Hamburger for example.

Crafted in a traditional way

Coulommiers owes its name to a small town in Seine-et-marne, which is the historical birthplace of many brie making families. With a slow maturation process, finished by hand wrapping, this cheese will develop a strong taste wich complements the creamy texture.

Its bloomy and ivory coloured rind will slowly change color as it matures, becoming darker with amber hues.
